Would you say shopping is one of the things you like doing?
Is there really any woman who would say she doesn’t like shopping? Anyway, when I have money, I enjoy shopping. It may be stressful but I love it.
Do you shop because it comes with your job?
Basically, I love shopping because of the job I do but then again, naturally, I love shopping. I love good things and not necessarily because they are expensive. I am curious and I am always looking for something new.
Is there a particular thing you don’t like about shopping?
I don’t like shopping for clothes especially since I had my baby. Before then, my size was spot on. I would get my size and it would suit me. But now that the boobs are out and the hips are larger, I would need to fit everything I buy. Every time you are on set, you have to keep changing clothes. It is a very stressful part of shopping. I hate trying on clothes. I can be very indecisive when it comes to shopping.
That means you may not like people going shopping with you as you would waste their time?
It can be frustrating for anybody who goes shopping with me. Instead of buying what I want, I would just waste people’s time, asking them what their opinion is concerning the choice I made. I like shopping with people but it is frustrating for them. If I go alone, I can take as much time as I want. But then, I always want another person’s opinion.
Do you haggle?
I bargain very well. The only place I may not bargain is at a shop. I just have to respect myself. There was a time I went into a lingerie shop and I saw a nice bra, I liked it and I just cut off the price tag. I went to pay for it and I was told the bra was N75, 000! I looked at myself and I was stunned. Out of shame, I paid for the bra. Even before I had entered the shop, some faces had recognised me as a Tinsel actress. I will never try such again. It was so stupid. I was so sure that bra wasn’t going to be more than N15, 000.
