Trader Punches Female Police Officer, Makes Her Bleed


A 28-year-old trader identified as Mrs. Clara Ossai has been accused of beating up a female police officer attached to the Gowon Estate Police Division.

According to report, Clara attacked Sergeant Grace Agede, 39, while trying to prevent her sister, Stella Amarikwa who was apprehended for stealing, from being detained.

As the police officer taking Stella to the cell, Clara attempted to free her sister. She was said to have held the cop by the neck and punched her in the mouth, while blood gushed out from her lips.

Sgt Grace was rescued by colleagues at the counter, while Clara was detained along with her sister.

Clara is facing a two count charge bordering on assault.
