Music Comes Alive At Etisalat Cliqfest

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) was set on a musical blaze last weekend as the most innovative telecommunications company in Nigeria, Etisalat, staged its special youth-centric, empowerment, and educative initiative tagged Etisalat Cliqfest.



The two day event which held at the university premises was anchored by King of humour and fast growing comedian, Bashiru Ahmed Adekunle, popularly known as Bash.

“Etisalat Nigeria advocates the teaching of several life skills through close encounters with the Nigerian youth because it provides perceptible transformation that these students can see, feel, and believe in.”Manager, Youth Segment at Etisalat Nigeria, Idiareno Atimomo, stated.

100 level Mechanical Engineering student, Onoriukpe Timothy Efemena rode home a brand new Hyundai i10 car courtesy of Etisalat Nigeria. In his brief remark, excited Efemena said “Winning the highly coveted grand prize of a car is truly a dream come true for me and I am forever grateful to Etisalat for it,”

Aside from the grand prize presentation ceremony, the students present at the concert were thrilled to a great time of fun and excitement with star performances from Skales, Reminsce, Evelle, Lil Kesh, and Mo Easy.



During the course of the two day initiative, several students were rewarded amazing prizes such as Laptops, mobile phones, and other amazing prizes.
